This is a freelance position based in Birmingham for an Early Years Internal Quality Assurer (IQA). The role involves supporting the assessment processes by ensuring quality and consistency in the delivery of qualifications for early years education.
Responsibilities include:
- Observing and mentoring assessors
- Standardizing assessment methods
- Reviewing learner E portfolios
- Ensuring that all practices align with awarding body and regulatory standards
- Providing guidance and feedback to improve overall training delivery and compliance
- Ensuring timely completions
We have Early Years Apprentices and also study programmes for ages years old studying Level 2 and Level 3.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Early Years education standards and requirements
- Experience in quality assurance practices, mentoring assessors, and reviewing learner portfolios
- Proficiency in communication, organization, and administrative skills
- Relevant qualifications such as an IQA qualification, Level 3 or higher in Early Years education, and experience in an assessment or training role
- Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the education sector
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
