Role: RTA Litigation Executive

CRA Consulting is delighted to be partnering with a respected and expanding legal practice to recruit an RTA Litigation Executive to join its specialist Non-Portal Motor Claims team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced personal injury professional to take ownership of a varied caseload of fast-track road traffic accident claims, handling matters from initial instruction through to settlement or litigation.

You'll join a collaborative team that values quality, efficiency and exceptional client service while offering ongoing support and opportunities for professional development.

The Role

Working within the firm's dedicated motor claims department, you'll be responsible for managing a busy caseload of non-portal RTA claims, progressing files through each stage of the litigation process while ensuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules and client service standards.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Managing your own caseload of fast-track non-portal RTA claims from inception through to conclusion.
  • Investigating liability, including disputed and complex liability cases.
  • Reviewing medical evidence and assessing quantum for both general and special damages.
  • Preparing schedules of loss and valuing claims in accordance with relevant case law.
  • Negotiating settlements with insurers and third-party representatives.
  • Identifying matters suitable for litigation and progressing court proceedings where appropriate.
  • Drafting court documentation, witness statements and procedural applications.
  • Managing disclosure, directions, court deadlines and compliance throughout the litigation process.
  • Liaising with medical experts, barristers and other professionals to progress claims effectively.
  • Delivering a consistently high standard of client care while maintaining accurate case records.

About You

Applications are welcomed from experienced Litigation Executives, Legal Executives, Solicitors, CILEX professionals and Fee Earners with a background in claimant personal injury litigation.

You'll ideally have

  • Experience managing your own caseload of fast-track RTA claims.
  • A strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and the personal injury litigation process.
  • Confidence handling both pre-litigated and litigated matters.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage a high-volume caseload.
  • Experience using legal case management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach with excellent attention to detail.

Qualified Solicitors and Chartered Legal Executives are encouraged to apply, although qualification is not essential for candidates with the right level of experience.
