CRA Consulting is working in partnership with a nationally recognised Personal Injury practice that is actively investing in the growth of its Serious Injury team. This role is ideal for a junior Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer, or experienced PI fee earner who wants to build a long‑term career in Serious Injury litigation, working on quality claimant matters, within a structured, supportive environment - and with the flexibility of fully remote working.
The Opportunity
You’ll manage a portfolio of claimant Serious Injury claims, primarily RTA‑based, with values typically up to £50,000. Crucially, this role is designed as a stepping stone into higher‑value Serious Injury work. You’ll receive close supervision, technical guidance, and structured development, with a clear pathway into Grade B and more complex claims as your experience grows. This is a genuine entry point into Serious Injury - not a dead‑end role.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a caseload of claimant Serious Injury files (up to ÂŁ50k)
- Delivering empathetic, high‑quality client care to individuals following life‑changing events
- Maintaining regular communication and building trusted client relationships
- Instructing and liaising with medical experts, case managers, care experts, counsel, and other specialists
- Analysing liability, causation, and quantum
- Drafting statements, pleadings, and schedules of loss
- Securing early interim payments and appropriate rehabilitation packages
- Progressing cases efficiently towards fair and timely settlement
- Working within a task‑based case management system
- Managing KPIs and performance objectives with regular supervision and feedback
- Supporting wider team initiatives, profile‑raising, and departmental development

- Qualified Solicitor or Fellow of CILEX, or equivalent experience at Grade C level
