You will be a key member of a friendly and collaborative Residential Property team, providing essential support on conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. Working closely with experienced fee earners, you will handle a varied caseload and gain exposure to a full range of residential property transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. This is an office-based position, offering the opportunity to benefit from hands-on training, day-to-day support, and close collaboration with colleagues. Key Responsibilities
- Supporting residential conveyancing files from instruction through to completion
- Preparing and drafting legal documentation, contracts, and correspondence
- Conducting property searches and dealing with Land Registry requirements
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties
- Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards
- Providing a high level of client care and clear, timely communication
- Using case management systems to manage files efficiently
- Assisting fee earners to ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently
About You
- Have experience working within residential conveyancing, ideally as a Paralegal or Conveyancing Assistant
- Are organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Have strong communication skills and are confident dealing with clients and third parties
- Possess excellent attention to detail
- Are comfortable working independently as well as part of a close-knit team
- Have good IT skills and experience using case management systems
- Are committed to delivering excellent client service
