Role: Personal Injury Fee Earner
CRA Consulting is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established and highly respected law firm to recruit an experienced Personal Injury Fee Earner.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist litigation team with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services to individuals.
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of claimant personal injury matters while benefiting from ongoing support, career development and the opportunity to work alongside experienced litigators.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of claimant personal injury matters from instruction through to settlement, ensuring clients receive exceptional service throughout the claims process.
Typical responsibilities include
- Managing a caseload of claimant personal injury files.
- Investigating liability, causation and quantum.
- Obtaining and reviewing medical evidence and other supporting documentation.
- Drafting legal documents, witness statements and correspondence.
- Negotiating settlements with defendant insurers and solicitors.
- Progressing claims in accordance with the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant Pre-Action Protocols.
- Maintaining regular communication with clients, providing clear advice and updates.
- Instructing medical experts, counsel and other professionals where required.
- Achieving individual performance targets while maintaining excellent standards of client care.
- Assisting colleagues on higher-value or more complex litigation where appropriate.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have
- Previous experience handling claimant personal injury matters.
- The ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision.
- A sound understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant Pre-Action Protocols.
- Strong negotiation and case management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A proactive and organised approach to managing deadlines.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding client care.
Experience of handling a broad range of personal injury matters, including Employer's Liability, Public Liability and Road Traffic Accident claims, would be advantageous.
