About the Firm
Our client is a well-established specialist claimant law firm with a strong reputation in clinical negligence and personal injury work. Due to continued growth within the Clinical Negligence department, the firm is now looking to appoint a Junior Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to build specialist expertise within a supportive and well-structured environment.
The Role
This is a hands‑on junior position offering early exposure to a varied claimant clinical negligence caseload. You will be involved in:
- Managing a caseload of lower‑value clinical negligence claims with supervision
- Assisting senior fee earners on more complex and higher‑value matters
- Reviewing and analysing medical records and expert evidence
- Drafting letters of claim, correspondence, and court documents
- Instructing medical experts and reviewing reports
- Communicating with clients in a sensitive and professional manner
- Supporting investigations, liability assessments, and settlement discussions
You will receive strong supervision and structured training, with encouragement to take on responsibility early and develop your own caseload.
About You
- Recently Qualified Solicitor (0-1 PQE)
- Experience in clinical negligence or personal injury during training contract
- Strong analytical and written skills
- Confident communicator with good client care ability
- Organised and capable of managing competing priorities
- Interest in developing a long‑term career in clinical negligence claimant work
