CRA Consulting is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-known and highly regarded Sheffield-based house builder to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Legal Executive into their growing in-house legal team. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for an experienced residential conveyancer looking to step away from the pressures of traditional private practice and move into an in-house environment offering better work-life balance, a collaborative team culture, and long-term career stability. You will be joining an established, supportive team handling high-quality residential conveyancing matters connected to new build developments and plot sales. For individuals with experience in new build conveyancing or plot sales, this role offers a fantastic chance to use your technical skills within a commercial developer setting whilst avoiding many of the pressures associated with private practice.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters relating to new build developments and plot sales
  • Assisting with the legal process from reservation through to completion
  • Liaising with panel solicitors, buyers, lenders and internal departments
  • Supporting the wider legal team with development-related conveyancing work
  • Reviewing legal documentation and ensuring transactions progress efficiently
  • Providing commercially focused legal support to the business
  • Working closely with sales and operational teams to help drive smooth completions
