Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating bills of costs for both paying and receiving parties.
- Preparing points of dispute and replies.
- Advising fee earners and clients on all aspects of costs law and procedure.
- Assisting with costs budgeting, costs management hearings, and detailed assessments.
- Handling negotiations and settlements efficiently and effectively.
- Managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
- Staying up to date with costs law developments and contributing to internal training or knowledge sharing.
