We are seeking a Senior Associate or Head of Conveyancing who\’s ready to take ownership of a high-performing team and step into a strategic leadership role across two key office locations.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licenced Conveyancer to move into a visible leadership position while still maintaining a high-quality personal caseload. The Role: Strategic, Client-Facing & Impactful
As Head of Conveyancing, you will lead a team of experienced conveyancers and support staff across two offices. You will also manage a diverse, high-quality caseload of property matters – acting as a senior technical advisor and role model within the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Running a caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, including new builds and shared ownership transactions
- Overseeing operational performance across the conveyancing teams, ensuring compliance with SLAs, KPIs and regulatory standards
- Acting as the main point of contact for complex matters and high-value clients
- Leading on file reviews, mentoring junior staff and supporting training and development
- Driving best practices in risk, compliance and client service delivery
- Working closely with senior management to shape departmental strategy and innovation
Candidate Profile – Are You Ready to Step Up?

- 5+ years\’ experience in residential conveyancing (senior fee earners through to department leads considered)
- Proven track record handling leasehold, new build, help-to-buy and shared ownership work

- Strong working knowledge of case management systems and digital workflows
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain calm under pressure
