Based in Whitehaven, with flexibility to work from home, you\'ll be responsible for managing a wide variety of property transactions, including leasehold, new builds, and shared ownership. You\'ll also have the chance to mentor junior team members, while ensuring targets and performance standards are consistently achieved.
What\'s Involved in the Role?
As part of our busy Conveyancing Department, you will manage your own caseload of sales and purchases, ensuring that all transactions are completed to the highest standards and within agreed deadlines. You\'ll guide junior colleagues, contribute to team development, and maintain an unwavering focus on delivering an outstanding client experience.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage Your Caseload: Oversee a diverse range of property transactions, including sale and purchase matters, new builds, leasehold, and shared ownership, with support from an assistant. Adjust your workload as required to maintain balance and efficiency.
- Drive Performance: Stay on top of deadlines and ensure KPIs and SLAs are met, ensuring smooth and timely progression of transactions.
- Achieve Your Targets: Strive to meet personal completion targets, balancing productivity with the delivery of excellent client service.
- Build Strong Relationships: Communicate regularly with clients, solicitors, panel members, and referral businesses to keep everyone updated on transaction progress.
- Mentor Your Team: Offer guidance and support to junior colleagues, leading by example in professional conduct and file management.
- Stay Current: Participate in training, 121s, and performance reviews, embracing modern conveyancing practices and solutions.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all transactions comply with SLAs, Anti-Money Laundering regulations, and other SRA requirements.

- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a conveyancing fee earner role, with a solid understanding of property transactions. We\'re also open to more experienced candidates.
