The Role: Shape the Future of Conveyancing in the Midlands
As a Property Lawyer, you will manage a diverse and high-quality caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion. This includes leasehold, new build, and shared ownership matters. Working as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you'll ensure a smooth transaction process for clients while meeting both individual and team performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, and new builds
- Maintain regular and professional communication with clients, agents, solicitors, and stakeholders
- Use the firm's bespoke in-house case management system to progress files and ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Meet individual and departmental KPIs and service standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including AML protocols and CQS standards
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a conveyancing fee-earning role
- Strong working knowledge of all aspects of residential conveyancing
- Experience with leasehold, new build, and shared ownership transactions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software, including Land Registry portal and SDLT submissions
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
- Confident communicator with a client-centric approach
Desirable:
- Experience using bespoke case management systems
- Strong understanding of conveyancing legislation and compliance best practices
