The Opportunity
CRA Consulting is working with a highly respected national law firm to appoint an Operations Manager to lead their Serious Injury division. This is a unique chance to step into a pivotal leadership role, shaping the performance, growth, and culture of a busy department handling high‑value, multi‑track serious injury and personal injury claims.
This role will suit a proven people leader who thrives in complex PI environments and is motivated by delivering results through people, process excellence, and first‑class client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of serious injury professionals via team leaders, ensuring performance, capability, and engagement.
- Oversee operational delivery of complex, high‑value multi‑track injury work, maintaining quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Drive performance against operational, customer, and financial KPIs – ensuring consistency across a large‑scale PI team.
- Embed new working practices, systems, and behaviours to enhance case progression and improve client service.
- Proactively identify risks, capacity issues, or performance shortfalls, implementing effective solutions quickly.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure growth, continuous improvement, and staff engagement remain central to departmental success.
About You
- Proven operational leadership within large personal injury/serious injury or multi‑track PI teams.
- A strong people‑first approach with the ability to inspire, coach, and hold teams accountable.
- Strategic vision combined with hands‑on execution – balancing detail and the bigger picture.
