The Role: New Build Property Lawyer
As a Property Lawyer within the New Build team, you will manage your own caseload of new build purchases and related sales, including leasehold and shared ownership transactions. You’ll work with the support of legal assistants and technology to deliver a seamless client journey from instruction to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a busy caseload of new build purchase and related sale transactions.
- Handle leasehold, shared ownership, and Help to Buy transactions.
- Deliver excellent service in line with client expectations and business KPIs/SLAs.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, agents, solicitors, and third parties.
- Use the bespoke case management system effectively and in line with firm protocols.
- Adhere to compliance standards including CQS, AML regulations, and SRA guidelines.
- Attend training, reviews, and team meetings to support continuous improvement.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Conveyancer or Property Lawyer (all levels considered).
- Experience with new build, leasehold, and shared ownership transactions.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Track record of meeting targets and deadlines.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- Competent with Land Registry, SDLT submissions, case management systems, and panel websites.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
