CRA Consulting are delighted to be working in partnership with a highly regarded national commercial law firm in the recruitment of a Property Litigation Solicitor to join their growing Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially minded solicitor with between 2-5 years' PQE to join a well-established property disputes practice acting for a broad range of commercial clients across the UK.
The Opportunity
You will work as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking litigation team, advising clients on a wide variety of contentious property matters. The successful candidate will gain exposure to high-quality work and have the opportunity to manage their own caseload while supporting senior lawyers on more complex disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of property litigation matters from inception through to resolution
- Advising landlords, tenants, developers and commercial clients on:
- Commercial landlord and tenant disputes
- Lease renewals and termination matters
- Dilapidations claims
- Possession proceedings
- Trespass and nuisance claims
- Easements, rights of way and boundary disputes
- Property insolvency issues
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements and settlement agreements
- Conducting negotiations and assisting with mediation where appropriate
- Supporting business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider real estate and litigation teams
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- Between 2-5 years' PQE within property litigation
- Experience gained within a recognised commercial law firm
- Strong technical knowledge of property litigation matters
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to manage competing deadlines effectively
