A leading legal services team is looking for an experienced RTA Litigation Claims Handler to join their growing team. The role involves managing a mixed caseload of litigated and non-litigated RTA claims, including OIC and MOJ/Fast Track claimant matters, from initial instruction through to resolution. You'll be responsible for delivering accurate legal advice, maintaining excellent client relationships, and ensuring claims are progressed efficiently in line with regulatory requirements, internal processes, and service standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of RTA personal injury claims through the full lifecycle
- Handle both litigated and non-litigated OIC and MOJ/Fast Track claims
- Provide clear, accurate legal advice and guidance to clients
- Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the claims journey
- Work towards individual and team performance objectives
- Ensure compliance with relevant procedures, service level agreements, and quality standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the ongoing development of the wider team
- Maintain a professional approach and represent the values of the organisation
About you:
We're looking for someone with experience handling RTA personal injury claims, ideally gained within a legal services, insurance, or similar environment. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience managing OIC and Fast Track RTA claims
- Knowledge of the MOJ portal, OIC processes, Pre-Action Protocols, and Civil Procedure Rules for low-value personal injury claims
- Strong client communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
- A proactive approach with the ability to work towards targets
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
