Our client is a reputable and well-established SME law firm based on the outskirts of Leeds. Due to ongoing expansion and increasing instructions, the firm is seeking to recruit an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated litigator looking to handle high-quality work within a supportive and flexible environment.
Position
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of claimant personal injury matters, including Serious Injury cases, Road Traffic Accidents (RTA), Employer's Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), Criminal Injuries, and a selection of Medical Negligence files. The caseload will predominantly consist of multi-track matters, offering exposure to complex and higher-value claims. You will be responsible for progressing files from instruction through to settlement or trial, drafting pleadings and court documentation, instructing counsel and experts, negotiating effectively on behalf of clients, and attending court hearings where required. The role requires delivering clear, practical, and empathetic advice to clients throughout what are often difficult circumstances. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure cases are progressed efficiently, maintaining high standards of compliance and keeping up to date with relevant legal developments and procedural changes.
