About the Firm
Our client is a leading national law firm with a strong reputation in complex claimant litigation and a well-established Clinical Negligence practice. The firm is widely recognised for handling high-value, multi-claimant and group action work across the UK. As the team continues to grow, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Grade C Solicitor to join their Sheffield office, focusing on complex group action clinical negligence claims. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator to take real ownership of complex cases within a specialist and expanding team.
The Role
You will play a key role in the management and progression of large-scale, multi-claimant clinical negligence group actions, working closely with senior lawyers and contributing to case strategy. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing and progressing complex group litigation files
- Overseeing multi-claimant casework and coordinating evidence
- Reviewing and analysing medical and expert evidence
- Drafting key litigation documents and pleadings
- Liaising with counsel, experts, and stakeholders
- Supporting settlement strategy and negotiations
- Contributing to case planning and strategic decision-making
- (Where appropriate) mentoring junior team members and supporting supervision
This role offers a high level of autonomy within a structured and supportive team environment.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (Grade C level or equivalent experience)
- Strong background in clinical negligence or claimant personal injury litigation
- Experience handling complex or multi-track litigation
- Confident managing files with minimal supervision
- Strong technical, analytical, and organisational skills
- Excellent client communication and case management ability
