A better PI role - with purpose, progression and flexibility. CRA Consulting is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected and expanding Scottish personal injury firm that is genuinely known for doing things the right way - for clients and for its people. This opportunity will appeal to Personal Injury Solicitors at any level - from newly qualified through to experienced practitioners - who want high-quality pursuer work, meaningful client relationships, and a firm that supports long-term career development without burning people out.

If you’re feeling limited by heavy volumes, rigid structures, or a lack of support, this role offers a refreshing alternative.

The Opportunity

You’ll join a modern, values-driven practice with strong investment in people, systems, and training. The firm places real emphasis on rehabilitation-led outcomes and client care, rather than simply pushing files to settlement. You’ll manage your own varied pursuer PI caseload, covering both pre-litigation and litigated matters, with the opportunity to gain exposure to more complex and serious injury work as your experience develops. Support, supervision, and progression are built in - not promised later.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing a caseload of pursuer personal injury claims from instruction to conclusion
  • Delivering high-quality, empathetic client care during often difficult circumstances
  • Meeting clients, counsel, and expert witnesses
  • Assessing liability, causation, and quantum
  • Drafting pleadings, statements, and court documents
  • Securing early interim payments and appropriate rehabilitation packages
  • Progressing cases efficiently to achieve optimal settlement outcomes
  • Working within a task-based case management system
  • Contributing to team performance and fee income
  • Supporting junior colleagues through mentoring and supervision (where appropriate)
  • Enhancing your professional profile through articles, updates, and case commentary

What they’re looking for

  • Experience handling Personal Injury claims (pre-litigation and/or litigated)
  • A genuine commitment to client care and quality outcomes
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working in a structured, target-driven environment
  • Organised, commercially aware, and detail-focused
  • Confident using case management systems, Word and Excel

All levels of experience are encouraged to apply - training and support will be tailored accordingly.

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary of £45,000 - £65,000, depending on experience
  • Hybrid working with real flexibility
  • 25 days’ annual leave (increasing with service)
  • A strong, well-rounded benefits package including:
  • Health and family wellbeing support
  • Insurance and assurance benefits
  • Recognition and reward initiatives
  • Additional time-off and flexibility options
  • Ongoing training, mentoring, and career development pathways

Interested? If you’re a Personal Injury Solicitor in Scotland considering your next move - or simply curious about what else is out there - I’d be happy to have a confidential, no-pressure conversation.
