Job Title: Family Solicitor
Salary Range: £35,000 to £50,000
Location: Worksop
Contract: Full or Part Time, Permanent
Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:

  • Advising and representing clients in matters including care proceedings, child arrangements, domestic abuse, divorce, and financial remedies.
  • Extensive experience with public law proceedings and working with parents and guardians involved in cases brought by local authorities.
  • Supporting victims of domestic abuse through protective injunctions and legal aid applications, ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing.
  • Managing a varied caseload of legal aid funded work, including applications, billing, and compliance with Legal Aid Agency regulations.
  • Handling private family law instructions with sensitivity and professionalism, particularly where clients require discreet, pragmatic advice and effective resolution.
