Job Title: Family Lawyer

Location: Sheffield City Centre (with Hybrid/Flexible Working)

Position

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of private family law matters, providing clear, practical, and sensitive legal advice to clients at all stages of their case. Responsibilities will include undertaking initial and ongoing client consultations, drafting legal documentation and correspondence, and ensuring case files are accurately maintained and fully compliant with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for negotiating on behalf of clients, managing day‑to‑day case progression, and overseeing administrative aspects of files, delegating tasks to support staff where appropriate. The role requires close collaboration with colleagues across the Family team to deliver consistently high-quality legal services within a supportive and professional working environment.

Key Details

The successful candidate will join a forward‑thinking firm offering a competitive salary of up to £59,000, together with a performance‑related bonus of up to 10% of salary. The firm operates a flexible hybrid working model and provides an extensive benefits package which includes 28 days' annual leave rising to 32 days with service, plus bank holidays, an enhanced pension scheme with up to 10% employer contribution, private healthcare, life insurance, access to a wellbeing programme, and a range of product and service discounts.
