About the Firm/Role:
An ambitious and nationally recognised law firm is seeking a Corporate Solicitor or Associate to join its thriving Leeds office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced Corporate Partner and a supportive national team on a diverse range of high-quality corporate transactions.
The role offers involvement in a wide variety of matters including mergers and acquisitions (both buy and sell-side), capital markets, cross-border deals, private equity, corporate structuring, and investment acquisitions. You\’ll be given early responsibility and the chance to develop your technical expertise and commercial understanding in a fast-paced, client-driven environment. With a hybrid working model and a genuine commitment to career development, this position is perfect for a corporate lawyer looking to accelerate their progression within a collaborative and forward-thinking firm.
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 1-3 years\’ PQE in corporate law
- Experience working on a range of corporate transactions including M&A and business/share sales
- Strong commercial awareness and high levels of technical ability
- Confident negotiator with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines
- Team-focused, proactive, and committed to continuous learning
- Comfortable interacting with clients and colleagues at all levels
