Childcare Solicitor

Salary Range:

£40,000 to £55,000

Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of public law children matters under legal aid funding.
  • Represent clients in care proceedings, including PLO meetings and court hearings.
  • Work closely with Guardians, Cafcass, local authorities, and other professionals.
  • Conduct advocacy, where appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with Legal Aid Agency (LAA) requirements and billing processes.
  • Maintain excellent client care and case progression standards.
  • Participate in business development and maintain the firm\’s strong local reputation.
