Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of public law children matters under legal aid funding.
- Represent clients in care proceedings, including PLO meetings and court hearings.
- Work closely with Guardians, Cafcass, local authorities, and other professionals.
- Conduct advocacy, where appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with Legal Aid Agency (LAA) requirements and billing processes.
- Maintain excellent client care and case progression standards.
- Participate in business development and maintain the firm\’s strong local reputation.
