LEGAL ADMINISTRATOR | CHESTERFIELD | £24,000-£26,000 | FULL-TIME

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Administrator to join a well-established legal team based in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is looking to develop their career within the legal sector.

The Role:

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the legal team
  • Opening and maintaining client files
  • Preparing correspondence and legal documentation
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting with document preparation, filing and general office administration
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors and other relevant parties
  • Supporting fee earners with the progression of matters
  • Managing emails, telephone calls and general enquiries
  • Ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately and within required timescales

About You:

  • Previous legal administration experience is desirable but not essential
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Professional, reliable and proactive approach
  • Genuine interest in developing a career within the legal sector

Role Details:

Position: Legal Administrator
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £24,000-£26,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
