CRA Consulting is working in partnership with a highly regarded claimant law firm to recruit an experienced Paralegal to join their Industrial Disease team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist legal environment handling high-quality, litigated Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) claims. The role offers exposure to complex casework, strong supervision from experienced fee earners, and genuine opportunities for professional development.
The Role
- Provide direct support to a fee earner managing a caseload of litigated industrial disease claims, with a particular focus on NIHL matters.
- Support the progression of litigated NIHL cases from instruction through to resolution.
- Assist with case preparation, ensuring all procedural deadlines and court requirements are met.
- Provide day-to-day legal and administrative support across the caseload.
- Draft routine legal documents, letters and court-related materials.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the firm's case management system.
- Liaise with clients to provide updates, obtain instructions and ensure a high standard of client care.
- Assist with the preparation of bundles and settlement documentation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective case progression.
About You
- Previous experience in a paralegal or legal support role.
- Exposure to personal injury or industrial disease litigation (NIHL experience highly desirable).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
- Good attention to detail and confidence handling legal documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- The ability to work well as part of a team in a busy legal environment.
