Wills, Trust & Estates Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive

Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE
Contract: Full Time, Permanent - Part-time options also considered
About the Firm & Role
CRA Consulting are delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a strong regional presence and a long-standing commitment to providing high-quality legal advice and client care. The firm is looking to appoint a Wills & Estates Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 3+ years' PQE (or equivalent experience) to join its established Wills & Estates team. Based at the firm's North Leeds office, the role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with some travel to other offices occasionally required. Following a structured onboarding process, you will take responsibility for your own caseload while working alongside experienced fee earners and benefiting from ongoing training and professional development.
The Role
You will handle a varied private client caseload, including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Administration of estates
- Court of Protection matters
- Trusts
- Providing clear, practical legal advice and support to clients
- Assisting senior fee earners with more complex matters as part of your continued development
- Contributing to the firm's marketing and business development activities, including written content and attendance at events where required
- Keeping up to date with relevant legal developments and continuing to develop your technical knowledge
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Qualification as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- 3+ years' PQE or equivalent experience
- Solid experience across wills, probate and estate planning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine commitment to delivering excellent client care
- The ability to manage your own caseload while working collaboratively as part of a wider team
- A proactive approach to professional development
Experience gained within a leading firm would be advantageous, although training and support will be provided where required. There is also the opportunity for someone with the ambition to work towards a STEP qualification.
