This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancer, Team Leader or Conveyancing Manager looking to step into a senior leadership role within a progressive and forward‑thinking law firm.
The firm has built an excellent reputation across South Yorkshire for delivering high levels of client care alongside a modern and commercially focused approach to residential property law. Due to continued growth and increasing levels of work, the business is now looking to appoint a strong people manager who can lead, develop and support an established conveyancing team whilst also helping drive performance, client service and operational efficiency across the department.
The role offers a genuine opportunity to influence the future direction of the team and would suit someone who enjoys mentoring and motivating staff whilst remaining technically strong within residential conveyancing matters.
The Opportunity
You will join a friendly and collaborative leadership team where culture, staff retention and client service are genuinely valued. This is not simply a fee‑earning role. The successful individual will play a key role in managing workflows, supporting and developing fee earners, improving processes and ensuring excellent service delivery across the department. What you’ll be doing
- Managing and supervising a busy residential conveyancing department
- Supporting and mentoring Conveyancers, Paralegals and support staff across the team
- Monitoring team performance, workloads and client service standards
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and staff development
- Helping drive efficiency, compliance and operational improvements across the department
- Supporting with technical conveyancing queries and more complex transactions
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, estate agents, introducers and third parties
- Ensuring files are progressed efficiently in line with regulatory and compliance standards
- Contributing towards the continued growth and development of the property department
- Remaining hands‑on with a smaller caseload of residential conveyancing matters where required

- Proven background within residential conveyancing
