We are seeking a skilled and reliable Ground Worker to join our team of trades operatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in groundworks and be capable of delivering high-quality results both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relaying, replacing, and repairing PCC (precast concrete) slabs.
- Tarmacking and surfacing works.
- Rendering and brickwork across various scopes.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and site cleanliness.
- Working collaboratively with other ground workers while also being able to work independently when required.
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in groundworks, including PCC slab work, tarmacking, and rendering/brickwork.
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and specifications.
- Strong practical skills with hand and power tools relevant to groundworks.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to take initiative.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
