4 Months Contract with a Local Authority
We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill multiple roles, with immediate openings and additional positions starting on March 2nd. These roles are primarily based in South West London, with some opportunities in South East London. Successful candidates will benefit from the provision of brand-new tools and a company van. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a valid driver's license, although a limited number of positions are available for non-drivers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain lawns, hedges, flower beds, and communal gardens across council estates.
- Conduct regular litter picking and waste removal from outdoor areas.
- Ensure pathways, entrances, and communal spaces are clean and free of hazards.
- Perform seasonal tasks such as leaf clearance, snow removal, and gritting.
- Report incidents of fly-tipping, vandalism, or safety concerns to the appropriate council team.
- Operate and maintain grounds keeping equipment, including mowers, strimmer, and leaf blowers.
- Engage respectfully with residents and uphold the council’s standards of service.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license preferred; limited roles available for non-drivers.
- Availability to start immediately or on March 2nd.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in South West and South East London locations.
