CRA Consulting is delighted to be working with a long-established and highly respected Yorkshire law firm to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing Wills, Probate and Estate Planning team in York. The Opportunity
You will become a key member of a well-regarded Private Client team, managing your own caseload while working alongside experienced colleagues on a variety of wills, probate and estate planning matters. This role would suit a solicitor who enjoys building lasting client relationships, providing practical advice with empathy and professionalism, and is looking to join a firm with an excellent reputation across Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting Wills tailored to clients’ personal and financial circumstances.
- Advising on Probate and Estate Administration matters from instruction through to completion.
- Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Providing estate planning advice to individuals and families.
- Advising executors, trustees and beneficiaries throughout the administration process.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional referrers.
- Managing your own varied caseload efficiently while maintaining exceptional standards of client care.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm where appropriate.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in Private Client law.
- Strong experience handling Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload independently.
- A professional, approachable and empathetic manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
