The Sheffield office is home to a highly regarded personal injury team handling a varied caseload of employer's and public liability matters, with a particular focus on road traffic accident claims.

Position

The firm is seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join its RTA personal injury team in Sheffield. The role will involve running a personal injury caseload focused on road traffic accident claims, with responsibility for progressing matters efficiently from instruction through to conclusion. You will assess and review liability following portal exit, make informed decisions on settlement strategy, and handle disputes where liability is contested by analysing evidence and statements. The position also involves negotiating with claimant and defendant representatives to achieve appropriate settlements and preparing matters for litigation where resolution cannot be reached at the pre-action stage. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced colleagues in a supportive team environment, with ongoing exposure to a varied and interesting caseload.

Key Details

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Sheffield, offering a salary in the region of £27,000 to £28,000.
