Responsibilities

  • Manage a litigated personal injury caseload, working closely with a senior director and the wider team.
  • Handle cases in Road Traffic Accident (RTA) and/or Employer’s Liability / Public Liability (EL/PL) matters, with caseloads tailored to experience.
  • Progress claims efficiently, conduct case reviews where liability is disputed or complexity arises, and handle matters where settlements or costs proposals have been rejected.
  • Carry out further investigations as required; prepare cases for hearing; instruct counsel when necessary; attend hearings as appropriate.
  • Receive administrative support as required to focus on high-quality fee-earning work and client care.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Open to Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives, and fee earners qualified by experience, with flexibility around background and specialism and clear career progression opportunities.
  • Experience in RTA claims and/or EL/PL matters is desirable.
  • Ability to work across fast-track, intermediate-track, and/or multi-track claims; welcome candidates with a broad generalist background or specialist focus within personal injury litigation.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Sheffield, with hybrid working available.
