We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Company Secretarial secretary to support this leading accountancy practice with client company secretarial and administrative duties. The successful candidate will work closely with directors, accountants, and clients to ensure statutory compliance and accurate maintenance of company records. This role would suit someone with strong administration skills, experience in company secretarial work / corporate, and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines in a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and filing of Confirmation Statements with Companies House
- Maintaining statutory registers and company records
- Processing changes to directors, shareholders, PSCs, and registered offices
- Assisting with share transfers, dividend paperwork, and allotments
- Monitoring Companies House deadlines and ensuring timely filings
- Liaising with clients regarding compliance requirements and outstanding information
- Using company secretarial software and Companies House online services
Administrative Support
- Maintaining accurate client records and databases
- Handling incoming correspondence and compliance documentation
- Supporting the practice team with general administration
- Filing, scanning, and document management
Client Service
- Acting as a professional point of contact for clients
- Responding to routine client queries promptly and accurately
- Building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
