My client is a rapidly growing professional services business looking to recruit an experienced and proactive HR Manager to develop and deliver a comprehensive HR service across our three offices. This role is central to supporting the firm’s professional service delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive, people-centred culture. The role is part time, three days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, induction, performance management, and exit processes.
  • Manage and coordinate six-monthly and annual performance reviews.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with UK employment law and best practice.
  • Support staff wellbeing initiatives, including oversight of the Medigold system.
  • Provide guidance and support on disciplinary and employee relations matters.
  • Monitor Continuing Professional Development (CPD) across the firm.
  • Assist with booking external training, including courses.
  • Maintain and update employment contracts and HR documentation.
  • Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring all HR practices align with the firm’s values and legal obligations.
  • Attend internal meetings to represent the HR function.
  • Develop and maintain digital HR systems, ensuring accurate and efficient management information reporting.

Skills & Experience

  • You will have a proven track record of working in a HR generalist role and ideally be CIPD qualified.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of HR initiatives.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience implementing and managing HR systems and processes.
  • Ability to provide clear, practical HR advice to managers and staff.
