The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor (Grade B or Grade C) to join the team. You will manage a varied caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, handling cases from initial instruction through to settlement or trial.

Key responsibilities

  • Advising clients on liability, causation and quantum
  • Managing cases independently and progressing matters efficiently
  • Drafting key legal documents, including Letters of Claim, witness statements and schedules of loss
  • Instructing and liaising with medical experts, counsel and other professionals
  • Conducting detailed investigations and building robust claims strategies
  • Delivering exceptional levels of client care throughout the litigation process
  • Supporting clients through sensitive and often complex circumstances with professionalism and empathy

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with experience handling claimant clinical negligence matters
  • Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
