The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor (Grade B or Grade C) to join the team. You will manage a varied caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, handling cases from initial instruction through to settlement or trial.
Key responsibilities
- Advising clients on liability, causation and quantum
- Managing cases independently and progressing matters efficiently
- Drafting key legal documents, including Letters of Claim, witness statements and schedules of loss
- Instructing and liaising with medical experts, counsel and other professionals
- Conducting detailed investigations and building robust claims strategies
- Delivering exceptional levels of client care throughout the litigation process
- Supporting clients through sensitive and often complex circumstances with professionalism and empathy
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with experience handling claimant clinical negligence matters
- Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
