Due to continued growth, they are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional looking for flexible working hours within a stable and supportive business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
  • Matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
  • Assisting with credit control activities
  • Processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supporting month-end procedures
  • Maintaining and updating accounting systems
  • Providing general administrative support to the finance function

The Person

  • Have previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Bookkeeper or similar role
  • Possess strong numerical and reconciliation skills
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Be able to work independently and manage their workload effectively
  • Demonstrate a professional and proactive approach
