A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Property Lawyer to join a dynamic team and handle a diverse caseload while contributing to a high-performing department.
The Role:
- Caseload Management: Independently manage a diverse caseload of sale and purchase transactions with the support of an assistant where appropriate.
- Client Communication: Deliver exceptional client service through proactive communication via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Engage with other solicitors, referrers, and professional organisations to maintain seamless communication and meet SLAs.
- Performance Targets: Achieve individual targets, including completion numbers, while contributing to team KPIs and objectives.
- System Utilisation: Operate the bespoke case management system to progress files efficiently and in line with firm protocols.
- Training & Development: Participate in training sessions, performance reviews, and team meetings to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to anti-money laundering legislation, CQS standards, and overall SRA compliance obligations.
- Leadership: Act as a role model within the team, demonstrating best practices in file management, communication, and client care.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a conveyancing fee earner role, with more senior levels also considered.
- Client Care: Exceptional communication and client service skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with MS Office, case management systems, Land Registry Portal, and online SDLT submissions.
- Organisational Skills: Proven ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of conveyancing transactions, AML legislation, and compliance standards.
- Adaptability: Ability to excel in a fast-paced, process-driven environment with a proactive and risk-based approach.
