A prestigious national law firm with its head office in Sheffield is seeking an ambitious and commercially-minded Senior Employment Partner to join its high-performing team. This opportunity offers partnership from day one, with a proven pathway to equity within two years.

This is a well-established, forward-thinking national law firm known for its high-calibre work, collaborative culture and impressive growth trajectory. With a strong footprint across the UK, the firm is now strategically expanding its Employment Law capability at a senior level from its Sheffield base.

You will play a key role in leading the development of the Employment practice, handling a varied caseload of both claimant and respondent work, advising a broad client base across the private and public sectors. The successful candidate will bring expertise, drive, and the commercial acumen to grow and shape the offering at both a regional and national level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on the full spectrum of employment law issues (contentious and non-contentious)
  • Represent clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings and complex litigation
  • Support business development and lead client relationship initiatives
  • Mentor junior solicitors and support team leadership
  • Contribute to strategic planning and long-term departmental growth
About You:
  • Qualified Solicitor (8+ PQE) with a strong background in Employment Law
  • Proven track record in both claimant and respondent work
  • Experience in managing client relationships at a senior level
  • A strong business development mindset and desire to build a team
  • Ideally with existing following or strong referral network (not essential)
