Joining a supportive and collaborative team, you'll manage a varied portfolio of claimant RTA matters, working with modern technology, structured processes and experienced colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients.
The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of a mixed caseload of litigated and pre-litigated Road Traffic Accident claims, dealing with both Official Injury Claim (OIC) and MOJ Portal matters from instruction through to settlement or conclusion. The role offers plenty of variety, combining technical legal work with regular client interaction, making it ideal for someone who enjoys balancing case management with excellent customer service.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing your own portfolio of claimant RTA personal injury claims from start to finish.
- Handling a mixture of OIC, MOJ Portal and Fast Track matters, including litigated cases where appropriate.
- Assessing liability, reviewing evidence and progressing claims efficiently.
- Advising clients throughout the claims process, ensuring they understand each stage of their claim.
- Preparing legal documentation and progressing matters in accordance with relevant protocols and court timetables.
- Liaising with insurers, medical experts, third parties and other stakeholders to progress claims.
- Delivering an excellent level of client care while maintaining high technical standards.
- Achieving individual performance objectives while contributing positively to the wider team.
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates with experience managing claimant RTA claims within a legal practice, legal services provider or insurer. You'll ideally bring:
- Experience managing your own caseload of RTA personal injury claims.
- Practical knowledge of the Official Injury Claim (OIC) Portal and the MOJ Claims Portal.
- Understanding of the Pre-Action Protocol for Low Value Personal Injury Claims in Road Traffic Accidents and the Civil Procedure Rules.
- Experience dealing with both litigated and non-litigated files would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with a genuine commitment to client care.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
