We are pleased to be working alongside a respected and well-established legal services provider to recruit an RTA Fee Earner to join their successful Personal Injury department. This role will focus on managing non-MOJ road traffic accident claims and offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced fee earner looking to handle a more varied and complex caseload.

The successful candidate will be responsible for progressing claims that fall outside the MOJ Portal process, managing matters from initial instruction through to settlement or litigation where required. This position would suit an individual with strong technical knowledge of personal injury litigation and experience handling claims beyond the portal stages.

As an RTA Fee Earner, you will manage a caseload of non-MOJ personal injury matters, ensuring cases are progressed effectively and in line with procedural requirements and client expectations. You will investigate liability and quantum, review evidence, obtain witness statements and medical reports, and identify the most appropriate strategy for progressing each claim. The role will involve preparing legal documentation, drafting correspondence, negotiating settlements, and where necessary, assisting with or progressing litigated matters through the court process.

You will act as the primary point of contact for your clients, providing clear advice, regular updates, and a high standard of service throughout the claims journey. Working closely with insurers, solicitors, medical experts, and other third parties, you will proactively drive cases forward while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards. You will also contribute to departmental objectives, support best practice initiatives, and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for clients.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have previous experience handling non-MOJ or litigated RTA claims and a strong understanding of the personal injury claims process. You will be comfortable managing a varied caseload independently and possess the ability to assess claims strategically, identify risks, and progress matters efficiently. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, alongside excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines effectively. You will be confident liaising with clients and external stakeholders and will demonstrate a professional, proactive, and client-focused approach at all times. Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications is expected.

Joining this established and accredited legal organisation offers the opportunity to further develop your expertise within personal injury law while working within a supportive and collaborative environment. The firm is committed to investing in its people and provides excellent opportunities for career development, ongoing training, and professional progression within a successful and growing department.
