Our client is a reputable and growing law firm with multiple offices across Yorkshire, known for providing professional, yet friendly legal services. Due to their ongoing success, they are now looking for a dedicated Residential Conveyancing Assistant to join their Barnsley office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to develop their expertise in residential conveyancing law, while working closely with experienced solicitors in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assisting fee earners with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, from instruction to completion
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to ensure a smooth process
- Drafting legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
- Conducting searches and reviewing title documents
- Managing files and keeping accurate records on the case management system
- Handling post-completion formalities
About You:
- 6+ months residential conveyancing experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive, able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload
