A growing and well-established accountancy practice in Sheffield is looking to appoint an experienced Practice Manager to support the continued expansion of the firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong practice administration and company secretarial experience to join a friendly and professional environment where they can make a real impact.

The Role

You will take ownership of a broad range of practice management and company secretarial responsibilities, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice reporting to the partners.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Bookkeeping duties on behalf of the practice
  • Maintaining supplier contracts and details
  • Handling compliance
  • Overseeing facilities/buildings

There is also scope to become involved in additional company secretarial work, including company formations and share class changes, although this is not essential. This will include:

  • Filing confirmation statements
  • Managing PSC registers
  • Processing director changes and company updates
  • Handling voluntary strike-offs and dormant company submissions
  • Preparing share transfer certificates
  • Managing dividend documentation and related administration
  • Supporting compliance and Companies House requirements
