CRA Consulting is partnering with a large, highly respected regional law firm with multiple offices across Yorkshire and a strong reputation across both commercial and private client services. This is a rare Director-level opportunity from day one. The firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Development Solicitor ready to lead, grow and shape a key practice area across South Yorkshire. This is a strategic hire — not simply a senior fee-earning role.
The Role
- Lead and expand the Residential Property Development offering
- Act for regional and national housebuilders on site acquisitions, disposals and strategic land matters
- Advise on option agreements, conditional contracts, promotion agreements and development finance
- Leverage and grow an established developer network
- Work closely with Corporate, Commercial Property and Planning teams
- Contribute at Board level as part of the firm’s senior leadership
The Ideal Candidate
- 5–10+ years PQE in Residential Property Development
- Strong developer relationships across South Yorkshire / Yorkshire
- Proven fee generation and commercial awareness
- Leadership mindset with ambition for equity participation
- Desire to build and scale a department
