This role involves communicating primarily by telephone with clients to take instructions relating to legal claims and provide basic legal guidance.
You'll be based in our Sheffield office, working under the supervision of a Team Leader for day-to-day activities and ultimately reporting to a Director.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver initial advice on personal injury claims and take client instructions.
- Conduct relevant searches depending on the nature of the claim.
- Draft and prepare the claims notification form for submission to the defendant.
- Liaise with medical agencies to arrange client appointments.
- Provide general legal guidance appropriate to your level of experience.
- Communicate with clients via telephone, email, and written correspondence.
- Make initial contact with third parties to support investigations.
- Accurately input and manage data within the case management system.
- Maintain up-to-date records and ensure accurate case tracking.
- Provide excellent client service in line with service level agreements and audit requirements.
- Handle all inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently.
- Meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Perform a range of administrative tasks to support team operations.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the department through flexibility and teamwork.
- Comply with all relevant SRA and Data Protection legislation.
- Carry out any other duties as reasonably required.
