Job Description Job Title: Commercial Litigation Paralegal Manchester City Centre Contract: Full or Part Time, Permanent Our client is a leading claims management law firm, specialising in a broad range of commercial and civil litigation matters. Based in modern offices in the heart of Manchester City Centre, the firm offers an excellent opportunity for a Litigation Paralegal to join a well-established and forward-thinking practice. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced solicitors and team leaders, gaining exposure to high-quality litigation work and benefiting from clear opportunities for long-term development. The Litigation Paralegal will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to solicitors and team leaders across a varied litigation caseload. The role involves assisting with day-to-day case management, conducting legal research and pre-claim investigations, and providing initial assessments of new cases. You will be responsible for preparing, editing, and proofreading a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, trial bundles, and instructions to counsel. The position also requires drafting professional correspondence for clients and third parties, handling enquiries from clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and in person, and maintaining accurate case files and CRM records. The role includes coordinating court schedules, managing the administrative aspects of assigned claims, and supporting settlement discussions, mediations, and other alternative dispute resolution processes between businesses and insurers. In addition, you will support effective internal collaboration by undertaking general administrative duties that help ensure smooth communication across departments. This Litigation Paralegal position is offered on a full or part-time, permanent basis and is based in Manchester City Centre. The salary on offer ranges from £24,000 to £27,000 per annum, depending on experience.
