RTA Claims Fee Earner to join its growing Personal Injury team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated litigation professional to take ownership of a caseload of Road Traffic Accident claims within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

As an

RTA Claims Fee Earner , you’ll be responsible for managing your own caseload of Small Claims Track RTA matters from instruction through to settlement, ensuring claims progress efficiently while providing an exceptional standard of client care throughout.

Where settlement cannot be achieved pre-litigation, you’ll prepare and issue proceedings, draft legal documentation, comply with court deadlines and progress matters through the litigation process.

You’ll also have the opportunity to work alongside experienced solicitors on more complex personal injury matters, allowing you to broaden your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities include

  • Managing a varied caseload of pre-litigated and litigated RTA claims.
  • Progressing files from initial instruction through to conclusion.
  • Drafting legal correspondence, witness statements and court documentation.
  • Issuing proceedings where appropriate and ensuring compliance with all procedural deadlines.
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, medical experts and other third parties.
  • Working in accordance with the OIC Portal, MOJ Pre-Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Delivering outstanding client care while meeting individual and team performance objectives.

About You

Applications are welcomed from candidates with experience handling claimant Road Traffic Accident claims.

You’ll ideally have

  • Experience managing your own RTA or claimant personal injury caseload.
  • A sound understanding of the OIC Portal, MOJ Pre-Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and client care skills.
  • A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
