Personal Injury Claims Executive (Motability)


CRA Consulting is partnering with a leading insurance organisation to recruit an experienced Personal Injury Claims Executive to join its specialist Motability team.


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RTA claims professional looking to build on their technical expertise within a supportive, collaborative environment. You’ll manage a varied portfolio of claimant personal injury matters while working alongside experienced colleagues who are committed to delivering outstanding customer outcomes.


The role offers a mix of technical challenge, client interaction and career development, making it ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of complex claims and seeing matters through to a successful conclusion.


The Opportunity


Working as part of a dedicated Motability team, you’ll manage your own caseload of Road Traffic Accident claims from instruction through to settlement or conclusion.


The caseload will include a mixture of Official Injury Claim (OIC), MOJ Portal, Fast Track and more technically challenging matters, including disputed liability cases, higher-value claims and Part 8 litigation.


With the support of experienced Team Leaders and established processes, you’ll play a key role in ensuring customers receive clear advice, proactive communication and the best possible outcome throughout the life of their claim.


What You’ll Be Doing


You’ll be responsible for:



  • Managing your own portfolio of claimant RTA personal injury claims from start to finish.

  • Handling a broad range of OIC, MOJ Portal, Fast Track, MIB and Part 8 litigated matters.

  • Progressing post-whiplash reform claims involving disputed liability and quantum.

  • Assessing evidence, reviewing liability and developing effective settlement strategies.

  • Valuing claims of up to £20,000 using the Whiplash Injury Regulations, Judicial College Guidelines and relevant case law.

  • Liaising with customers, insurers, solicitors, medical experts and other third parties to progress claims efficiently.

  • Delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.

  • Managing a busy caseload of approximately 200 files while maintaining excellent attention to detail.


About You


We’re looking to speak with experienced claimant personal injury professionals who have developed strong technical knowledge within an insurer, legal services provider or law firm.


You’ll ideally have:



  • Experience managing your own Fast Track RTA personal injury caseload.

  • Strong working knowledge of the Official Injury Claim (OIC) Portal and the MOJ Claims Portal.

  • Understanding of the Pre-Action Protocol for Low Value Personal Injury Claims in Road Traffic Accidents and the Civil Procedure Rules.

  • Experience assessing tariff and non-tariff injuries and valuing claims using the Judicial College Guidelines.

  • Confidence handling disputed liability and quantum matters.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a high-volume caseload.

  • A proactive, customer-focused approach and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent outcomes.
