Are you an experienced and adaptable Education or SEND Solicitor looking for your next locum assignment? CRA Consulting is proud to be partnering with Sheffield City Council to recruit for a highly capable Special Educational Needs (SEND) Locum Solicitor to join their legal team on an initial 3-month contract, with strong potential for extension. This is an excellent opportunity to work remotely while supporting a forward-thinking and supportive local authority.

You’ll provide high-quality legal advice and representation on a broad range of special educational needs law matters, including:

  • SEND Tribunal appeals and advocacy in case management and final hearings
  • Advice on policy, procedure, and statutory duties in relation to SEND
  • Supporting decision-making processes with sound, risk-aware legal input

We’re seeking a skilled and proactive SEND Lawyer who can hit the ground running. Proven experience in SEND law, with strong tribunal advocacy skills. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while remaining a collaborative team player.

Start: ASAP

Hourly Rate: £55–£60 per hour (via umbrella)
