CRA Consulting is delighted to be working with a well-established and growing Yorkshire law firm in the recruitment of a Private Client Solicitor to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client fee earner with 4+ years PQE to join a supportive and collaborative department. The firm is open to considering candidates with varying levels of experience and will shape the role around the successful individual, with the aim of strengthening the team and supporting continued growth across the department.

The Opportunity

You will manage your own varied Private Client caseload whilst playing a key role in delivering exceptional client service and contributing to the continued success of the department. Your caseload will include:

  • Wills and estate planning
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Trusts
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Inheritance Tax matters

The successful candidate will have the autonomy to manage files independently whilst benefiting from the support of an experienced and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied Private Client caseload from instruction through to completion
  • Providing clear, practical and commercially focused advice to clients
  • Maintaining high standards of client care and service delivery
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider team
  • Supporting business development and marketing initiatives
  • Building and maintaining strong client and professional relationships
  • Ensuring compliance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements

About You

To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE within Private Client
  • Have experience handling a broad range of Private Client matters independently
  • Possess strong technical knowledge or demonstrate a desire to further develop your expertise
  • Be organised and capable of managing your own workload effectively
  • Have excellent communication and client care skills
  • Be proactive, adaptable and enjoy working within a team-focused culture
  • Have an interest in networking, marketing and business development activities
