Job Title: Employment Legal Secretary,Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire,Salary: £25,000 – £27,000,An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Legal Secretary to join a successful, full-service law firm with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional client care and high-quality legal advice. With a growing Employment department and an expanding client base, this role offers a fantastic chance to be part of a busy and supportive team within a well-established firm.
This is a permanent, full-time position, ideal for someone with previous experience in a legal secretarial or administrative role, preferably within employment law or a similar litigation-focused area. The successful candidate will provide vital support to fee earners and solicitors in the Employment team and will play a key part in the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Employment team
- Producing and amending legal documentation and correspondence through audio typing and digital dictation
- Opening new files, maintaining case management systems, and ensuring compliance procedures are followed
- Managing client communication via telephone, email, and post in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinating diaries, arranging meetings, and supporting fee earners with general administrative tasks
- Assisting with the preparation of employment tribunal documents, contracts, and other legal paperwork
- Liaising with clients and third parties, offering clear and courteous communication at all times
The Ideal Candidate:
- Will have previous experience in a legal secretary or assistant role, ideally within employment law or litigation
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident and professional telephone manner
- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
