New Build Residential Conveyancer / Solicitor
Salary: £35,000-£50,000 DOE
Location: Doncaster

CRA Consulting are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm to recruit an experienced New Build Residential Conveyancer / Solicitor to join their specialist residential property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancer or solicitor looking to join a firm with an excellent reputation for delivering a high-quality, client-focused service.

The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of new build residential transactions, working closely with developers, clients, lenders and other third parties. New build conveyancing offers the opportunity to work on transactions involving more complex legal documentation, developer requirements and strict timescales.

The Role
You will take responsibility for managing a caseload of new build residential transactions from instruction through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing new build purchase transactions, including off-plan purchases
  • Dealing with contracts, transfers, leases and associated legal documentation
  • Reviewing and reporting on title and contract documentation
  • Raising and responding to enquiries
  • Liaising with developers, lenders, clients and third parties
  • Managing transactions in line with strict developer deadlines
  • Progressing files through to exchange and completion
  • Providing a high level of client service throughout the transaction
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience handling residential conveyancing transactions
  • Strong New Build conveyancing experience is highly desirable
  • Experience managing a caseload with limited supervision
  • A good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • A proactive, commercial and detail-oriented approach
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a busy and collaborative team
